Amer Hussein N Mambuay, SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan

Amer Hussein N. Mambuay is a Partner in SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. He is an expert on shariah law, being a Muslim himself. He has attended various seminars, both locally and abroad, on Islamic banking and finance, and has advised local banks on issues involving Muslim clients. He is an active member of the Young Moro Professionals Network, an organization of Muslim professionals in the Philippines advocating peace and development.

His other practice areas include labor and employment, litigation and arbitration, and corporate services. He is an accredited lecturer in labor and employment and is a Philippine member of the Employment Law Alliance.

Mr. Mambuay obtained his college degree in Political Science at the University of the Philippines in 1989 and his law degree from the same university in 1993. He was a member of various organizations both in college and law school, including the Alpha Phi Beta Fraternity where he was once the Lord Chancellor.
